Hola Che!!

Hola Che!!
So, my new mission president got here about a week ago, and he will be having a conference with us in one week. I am super excited to meet him and his family. President Kähnlein is from Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is a convert to the church, and is super pumped about sharing the gospel. My leaders told me that he is really focused on sharing the Book of Mormon, and it seemed like he is really going to pump up the mission with his animo!
This week we have the baptismal interview with Soledad, and she is super excited and ready to get baptized in two weeks. She and Pablo are going to get married in Viña and then she will get baptized the next day.
Elizabeth and her family couldn't go to church last week because they had a brand new baby in the family. We are going to do everything possible to help them get baptized in August.
María Ines and her family couldn't go to church this week either because the father really isn't too happy with the Mormons, but we are going to pray a lot this week so that they all make it to church as a family.
Yesterday we gathered together all of the men of the church to go visit members who don´t attend church regularly. I really enjoyed riding around town in a car with Hermano Rojas. It was a lot better than walking up and down all the hills, and we were able to visit three families really fast! I also missed, though just for a second, being able to drive! haha
We had a pretty sweet miracle this week. Wednesday we had a lot of good plans, and they all failed!  So, we didn't really have much to do and we decided to say a prayer. So we did, and we continued on with our plans for the day. We asked directions to a family from a person who told us the wrong house. We knocked on this house and we found a family where the parents are members who don´t go to church and their kids aren't members. We were able to share with them a message about Jesus Christ, and we are going to visit them again today. The Araya family is a miracle. I know that we were meant to find them and help them.
We also visited an older gentleman who is very sick. It was a very cool experience to see how he accepts the will of the Lord in his life, regardless of his sicknesses. I want to be more like him!
Jesus Christ lives. Keep the Faith!
Elder Hales
