Hola chiquillos!!
So, this has been a sweeeeeeeet week. Our entire mission has started the Book of Mormon over again, and we are going to read it in the same time that Joesph Smith translated it. It is about 8 pages a day in English. Just so you guys know, nowadays it takes a team of translators a whole day to translate only one page!
We had a sweet conference on Tuesday, and I was able to see a lot of friends from my old areas.
We had a sweeeeeeeeet experience this week:
My comp and I were walking to an appointment on Monday when we got flagged down by a young lady pushing a stroller on the other side of the street. We quickly ran over to her and asked her if we could help her. She excitedly gave us a bunch of cookies and told us that she had gone to the church when she was younger. We set up an appointment for Saturday, and she was there waiting for us with her husband. They were renting only a single room for the three of them, but they had made us hot chocolate and warm bread. They both were unbaptized, but had been looking for the missionaries for months. The wife had a lot of family who were members, but never got permission from her parents to get baptized. She just had gotten married to her husband, and they both wanted to become members of the church. They came with us to church on Sunday, and they are progressing well. It was a miracle family that is 100% prepared by the Lord. They still have many challenges before they can be baptized, but some of the biggest are already taken care of. They are working hard to take care of their two year old daughter and the son on-the-way. I felt the love that God has for them, and I am grateful to have found them.
This is God´s work.
